Labour Day is just around the corner and preparations for labour day are going on throughout British Columbia.  In Vancouver, the B.C. Federation of Labour and the Canadian Labour Congress are hosting a picnic to celebrate working people in British Columbia.

You can join in these Labour Day celebrations with your family and friends to have a fun filled day for free kids activities, family entertainment, 50-cent hotdogs, drinks and corn (no HST!). These Labour Day celebrations will take place in John Hendry (Trout Lake) park on Monday, September 7th 2009 from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm.
